I had a massive clear out over the Christmas break. Since going to Uni most of my scrapbooking stuff had been in boxes under my bed and given that come Summer I will be moving permanently to the UK I needed to streamline my stash!
With around 15 ‘pizza’ boxes to get through as well as 3 large plastic tubs it took me most of the day to sort through but the end result was 2 bin sacks of rubbish, a massive pile of new/nearly new stash to car-boot and a modest pile of stash to keep! I felt good.
I’m not a big fan of New Years Eve and having had a cold for the previous 3 days I didn’t go out but spent the night sat in front of the TV with the family. I took down a few crafty bits as I wanted to make a few birthday cards for friends who have birthdays in January, well once i started I couldn’t stop and by the time midnight struck I’d made a total of 18 cards! Almost enough for the whole year!!
I kept the designs simple and used as many of my favorite embellishments as I could! I also used up some rub-ons that I doubted would last another year in a box of unused stash!
My favorite were the cards made using the Melissa Frances mini frames (above), I ended up buying a few more sets as I think they make gorgeous wedding cards and I have a number of weddings to go to this year!
Thanks for looking,

Well done you! The cards are great! And I can’t believe you made so many all in one go!!! I think that’s probably the best way to do it, though – then you’re motivated and have everything you need right there. I love the mini frames! What a cute idea!!!

Thanks Carly!! Defintely good idea to just make loads at once, if i sit down to make just one card it could take all day! Sorting out the stash helped too! Xx
