I think it was the wonderful Hoxton Handmade that introduced me to the Brooklyn Tweed pattern Bedford, I’d been looking for a pattern to use for a bagful of Artesano aran weight yarn that I’d originally bought for another project but had decided against at the last minute. I think I went through about 8 patterns and was feeling a bit uninspired about what to knit – something that looked complex but wasn’t too complicated so when i came across this I was instantly sold.
This pattern is of the quality that we would expect from the fabulous designers at Brooklyn Tweed, easy to follow and well written, well worth the price tag in my opinion. Plus I’m so excited about wearing what is looking to be a lovely warm and cosy jumper!
My only real concern is that i’m knitting at a snails pace, it’s such a lovely easy knit but with the bits of christmas knitting I have to do already mounting up I can’t see this getting finished much before February!

Ooh I love that pattern, it’s the one I’m really tempted by! I hadn’t thought of Artesano Aran for it though, how’s that knitting up?
Oh it’s knitting up like a big squishy blanket – i can’t wait to wear it! Lovely easy tv knitting too! definitely on my recommended list (although I will say i’m only about 10inches in! lol!0
